Welcome Letter

Hi everyone and welcome to My Divine Beauty Obsession. My name is Denay Dominic and my goal is to share with you easy and helpful beauty tips. After having children I forgot to care for myself. I forgot that I needed to make sure that I was healthy and happy, so that I could continue to raise my babies. This blog is about overall wellness and beauty products (which includes: cosmetics, skin care, fashion and hair care).

I’d like to share a little bit about myself. I am an INFJ, HSP and an Empath. So, that basically means that every moment of my life is hyper focused on the energy or emotions that surrounds me. I have had to learn how to not absorb the energies of others and to determine if an energy or an emotion actually belongs to me or someone else.

I will be honest, making the decision to finally do a blog was very difficult for me because I don’t like to be in the foreground. Giving myself the opportunity to be truly transparent about: who I am, what my likes are, and how I view beauty in general is a huge and remarkable step for me. As I am extremely private about my thoughts due to fear of being misunderstood, riduculed/condemed or being deemed a “weirdo”.

Yes, I know the world is filled with a multitude of unique types of people, but who really wants to openly acknowledge that about themselves.

Anywho! After much soul searching, healing and creating a ridiculously easy self-care routine (which I will share later) I decided to let go of my fears and try something new.
